Harry Vanderspeigle mistakenly believes them to be on Earth and seeking to destroy it. In actuality, however, it is The Greys who are on Earth.

They have the ability to disguise themselves as humans, just as Harry's people do.
They are one of two species that are able to manipulate portals, the other being The Greys.
They are able to understand crop circles, which are alien emoji. The 37th parallel ("UFO Highway") contains an energy that amplifies alien signals, including crop circles.
According to Harry Vanderspeigle, they are dangerous, but also "egotistical chicken dicks."
